RCHS Student Internships

RCHS Student Internships: 

In order to qualify for a paid internship, students need to complete the Careers A course at RCHS and receive the recommendation of the Careers instructor.  In order to complete the internship course:

  • Students must complete 60-90 internship hours at a job site
  • Check in with the Careers instructor on a weekly basis
  • Complete written reflections about their experiences

Upon completion, students will receive 5 elective credits and a $250-$300 stipend and in addition, the internship will fulfill the 40 hours work based learning/volunteer graduation requirement. For the 2019-2020 school year, the internship sites include the Rose Bowl, Old Navy, Huntington Hospital and Rosebud Cafe. For more information, please see Mr. Lightner (RCHS Careers instructor).
